PROJECT GINGERBREAD
This is the working title for the third book in The Grimdark Fairytales mini-series - and from the name ‘gingerbread’, one can assume which classic story is going to be tackled next. Featuring an old lady living in a house on a cliff-side, who befriends a tiny bird called Wilhelm, the book’s opening has a much lighter tone than its predecessors - but don’t let that deceive you. There is plenty of violence and tragedy at work here, especially when the fires start to burn…
The novella will be of similar length to its predecessors - approximately one hundred pages - with a tentative release window of Q3 2026.

PROJECT FACTORY
PROJECT FACTORY
This is a standalone book inspired by my current job working in the technical department of a food factory. In the story - not in real life - the entire facility is run by a single operating system, including an advanced A.I. that… well, you can probably guess what happens next.
It will be a novella, approximately ten chapters long, following the perspective of a young school dropout looking for money to pay his rent. I will probably treat this as a creative palette cleanser for when I get burned out from writing fantasy - and yes, it does happen - so I have no official release date yet. It should be in the next year, however, if all goes to plan!

PROJECT USURPER
PROJECT USURPER
This is the secretive title for the next book in The Blood and Steel Saga, which will be another interconnected story similar to The Knife of Sorrows. It will follow two characters from the main series as revealed at the end of The Tusks of Wrath, as they engage in an ancient Tarrazi ritual to prove their worthiness as fighters.
It will be similar in length and structure to its predecessor, sitting at just under three-hundred pages, and will likely take about three months to write. I am very excited to write the story so expect regular updates when I do start!
